Eucalyptus is best known for its use to relieve respiratory issues. There are multiple types of Eucalyptus. Most consumers are most familiar with Eucalyptus globulus, which has a harsher scent and can cause reactions in children. We carry a Eucalyptus Radiata, which has been found to be more effective for many applications and which we believe is safe for use on children.

At the Office:

1. Reach for Eucalyptus when a client comes in with allergies or breathing issues. A few drops along the clavicle, neck, and around the ears. Cup over the nose and ask client to breathe deeply.

2. Diffuse in our AromaDisc / Salt Bowl

At Home:

1. Hot water Inhalation:  Put 1-3 drops into hot water, cover head with towel, lean over bowl, and inhale deeply. Great for coughs, cold, and congestion.

2. Dishwasher:  The Anti-Bacterial properties of Eucalyptus can aid with cleaning dishes and having a great smelling kitchen! Just add 3 – 5 drops in your dishwasher or into your dishwasher soap.

3. Painting:  Add 1 teaspoon to a gallon of paint, stir well and paint. It effectively erases paint fumes and after smell.

4. Diffuse in our AromaDisc / Salt Bowl or a diffuser of your choice that uses water mixed with the essential oil.

5. Bath/Shower:   Add a few drops to a warm bath or shower to clear sinuses.
