Our Pink Collection is easily recognized as the traditional Himalayan Salt. The Grey Stones are new to the US market and rarer to find. The gray color is because there is a little more iron and magnesium in these stones but they all come from the same mine in Pakistan.
No preparation needed - to warm, just plug the cord into your nearest electrical outlet. Warming the stones takes about 30 minutes on the highest setting when they have been off. The gray stones will heat a little faster than the pink.

Additionally, our bowls are designed to hold our hand-carved massage stones - these stones only are designed to fit in the bowl - please do not substitute with other stones - if you do they will not fit correctly and therefore, may not warm correctly.
We are sorry but these bowls can only be used in the US or Canada - as the voltage overseas is different. However, our travel bag is set for European voltage and would work just fine in both the USA, Canada, and Worldwide.
